ABOUT

Ariel Kregal developed a love for the Theatre through her parents, Bess and Jesse Kregal. She was inspired by their resiliency, creativity, and ability to be a “Jack of all Trades”. Ariel was inspired to learn how costume and scenic design contributed to creative storytelling, especially the theme of loss. After completing her BFA in Theatre Design, Ariel spent a season as a costume design assistant at the Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) in California where she further developed her design skills and gained invaluable experience. Ariel spent three seasons as a costume designer at the Bay View Music Festival in Petoskey, Michigan where she discovered the poetic world of Opera. In 2022, Ariel received an MFA in Stage Design with emphasis on Costume and Scenic Design from Southern Methodist University. She is currently residing in NYC and keeping busy as a fulltime In-House Designer at the TDF Costume Collection. However, loves to fill her free time on the weekends with crafting and illustrating.
